[ CUSTOMS MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 2-2006, January 06, 2006 ]

REPEALING CUSTOMS MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 23-2004 AND REVERTING THE OPERATIONAL CONTROL AND SUPERVISION OF THE VEHICLE IMPORTATION COMPLIANCE MONITORING UNIT FROM THE INTELLIGENCE AND ENFORCEMENT GROUP TO THE OFFICE OF THE COMMISSIONER



Customs Memorandum Order No. 23-2004 attaching the Vehicle Importation Compliance and Monitoring Unit (VICMU) to the Intelligence and Enforcement Group, this Bureau, is hereby repealed.

Henceforth, the operational control and supervision of VICMU is hereby reverted to the Office of the Commissioner, reinstating in full, the provisions of Customs Memorandum Order No. 3-2004.

All other rules and regulations that are inconsistent herewith are likewise deemed repealed, amended or modified accordingly.

This Order shall take effect immediately and shall last until revoked.
