(NAR) VOL. IV NO. 4 / OCTOBER-DECEMBER 1993

[ LTFRB MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 93-011, November 17, 1993 ]

PARKING OF PUBLIC UTILITY VEHICLES ON SIDE STREETS

The Board had observed that there are several operators whose units are parked on side streets.  Complaints were received by the Board that repairs, maintenance and parking are being done in the streets and thoroughfares in the Metropolis.

Considering that prior to the grant of a Certificate of Public Convenience, the Board had required operators to put up a garage for their authorized units, all public utility operators are enjoined to use garages instead of public places or side streets in parking their vehicles.

Any operator found violating this Memorandum Circular shall be imposed the following penalties:
First Offense - Stern Warning
Second Offense - Suspension of Operation for thirty (30) days
Third Offense - Cancellation of Certificate of Public Convenience
For immediate compliance.

Adopted: 17 Nov. 1993
