This Board recently issued MC No. 2010-002 effective January 23, 2010 titled: “Reversion of Yearly Testing and Resealing of Taximeter”. In said MC, the Board announced the expiration of the Contract of Lease on use of the regular revenue for testing and resealing purposes of taximeters. All taximeters shall be presented to the Commission (now Board) for testing and sealing twice a year as provided for by law. The testing and sealing of taximeters shall be effected upon such dates to be determined by the Commission (now Board)”.

It is further amended and mandated, that the sticker will now be used as marking on the unit in the body and inside the motor vehicle.
