[ LTO MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. AHS-2010-1304, May 05, 2010 ]
STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF LETAS SETTLE ANYWHERE
Memorandum Circular No. 763-2006 provided the guidelines in the implementation of Law Enforcement and Traffic Adjudication System (LETAS) Settle Anywhere covering admitted cases which settlement does not require presentation of evidence. There are reports however that this facility is not being implemented properly in all district offices. Noncompliance to the said guidelines affects the processing of driver licenses and registration of motor vehicles.
In view of the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) in the Driver Licensing System (DLS), there are target processing times set for each type of driver license application which are affected by improper or non-implementation of the LETAS settle anywhere facility.
All regional and district offices are hereby instructed to strictly implement Memorandum Circular No. 763-2006 on LETAS settle anywhere.
Noncompliance shall be dealt with accordingly.
