[ LTO MEMORANDUM, January 02, 2006 ]

PENDING IMPLEMENTATION OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 670-2005 DATED 12 DECEMBER 2005 ENTITLED “ONLY STUDENT DRIVER APPLICANTS WHO FAILED IN THE EXAMINATION FOR NEW LICENSE SHALL TAKE ANOTHER EXAMINATION AT LEAST ONE MONTH THEREAFTER”

Relative to the Memorandum Circular No. 670-2005 dated 12 December 2005 which reiterates, that only application for “new” driver’s license who failed on the examination shall be covered by Section 30 of R.A. 4136, which states that:

“A Student Driver who fails in the examination on professional or non-professional license shall continue as Student Driver and shall not be allowed to take another examination at least one-month thereafter”

In view hereof, it is hereby directed that the implementation of above mentioned M.C. shall be held in abeyance in order to give more time for Stradcom Corporation to enhance and modify the Driver’s License System (DLS) in consonance with the provision of M.C. No. 670-2005, until further notice.

For strict compliance.
