SEAFARERS IDENTIFICATION AND RECORD BOOK (SIRB) WITH SHIPPING COMPANY/ MANNING AGENCY STICKERS AND IDENTIFICATION MARKERS
In order to preserve the presentability of the Philippine Seafarers Identification and Record Book (SIRB) being issued by this Authority to all Filipino seafarers as well as to protect its security features and in consideration of page 32, para 2 of the SIRB which states that “The Book remains the property of the Republic of the Philippines and may be withdrawn at anytime. This is not transferable to any person and may not be altered in any way by the holder…”, all concerned parties are hereby prohibited from affixing or sticking any company stickers and identification markers on the front and back covers of all SIRBs.
This Advisory shall cover all SIRBs issued starting from 01 July 2011.
