CREATION OF A NEW COLLECTION DISTRICT NO. XVI (PORT OF LIMAY) AND REDEFINING THE JURISDICTIONAL LIMITS OF COLLECTION DISTRICT NO. LL-A (PORT OF MANILA)



In the interest of the service and pursuant to Executive Order No. 727 a new Collection District No. XVI to be known as the Port of Limay is hereby created.

The new Collection District No. XVI shall have the Port of Limay in Bataan Province as its Principal Port of Entry and shall have jurisdiction over the entire province of Bataan excluding the area covered by the SBMA-Bataan created under Republic Act No. 7227, Proclamation No. 984 and Executive Order No. 381 and other laws appurtenant thereto. The Port of Limay (Collection District No. XVI) shall have Mariveles as its Subport of Entry.

Accordingly, the Subports of Limay and Mariveles are removed from the jurisdiction of Collection District No. ll-A (Port of Manila) and all the powers, functions and properties of these subports are transferred to Collection District No. XVI.

Collection District No. XVI (Port of Limay) and Subport of Mariveles shall be headed by a District Collector of Customs and a Port Collector of Customs, respectively. Each shall be assisted by one (1) Deputy Collector of Customs. The hereto attached Staffing Pattern for both ports shall form part of this Order.

All Customs rules and regulations and any part thereof inconsistent with this Order are hereby repeated and/or modified accordingly.

This Order shall take effect upon the approval of the Secretary of Finance.
