AMENDMENT TO SUPPLEMENTAL GUIDELINE FOR WAIVER OF EXCLUSION OF MINOR CHILDREN RE: OFFICE MEMORANDUM NO. MCL-08-006
Paragraph 4 and 5 Of office Memorandum No. MCL-008-006 are hereby amended as follows:
Minor children under fifteen (15) years of age of Philippine ancestry, who are companied by or not coming to join a parent shall be exempt from waivers Exclusion and waivers of exclusion service fees, Provided that, the children e accompanied by a Philippine grandfather, grandmother, guardian or relative, Provided further that, the accompanying grandfather, grandmother "guardian or relative submits substantive proof (e.g. birth certificate issued by: the NSO or by LCR, Baptismal Certificate, other public documents acknowledging relationship) of the children's Philippine ancestry at the port of entry and Provided finally that, the children are not otherwise, inadmissible.
For purposes of these guidelines, the term children shall refer to children below f ft en (15) years of a9e'wnetner legitimate, illegitimate or legally-adopted.
This memorandum order takes effect immediately.
