(NAR) VOL. 6 NO. 3 / JULY - SEPTEMBER 1995

[ SRA CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 35, July 26, 1995 ]

UNUSED SUGAR QUEDANS

All unused sugar quedan-permits for raw and refined sugar will no longer be allowed by this Office for revalidation for use beginning crop year 1996-1997 and thereafter.

However, the unused "A" Export and "B" Domestic sugar quedan-permits for crop year 1994-1995, will be allowed for the last time for revalidation for crop year 1995-1996, upon written request, provided the said quedans will be used exclusively and correspondingly to cover the "A" Export Sugar and "B" Domestic sugar.

Also, quedan-permit validation will be done in SRA-Quezon City for mill companies in Luzon, Eastern and Central Visayas and Mindanao, and SRA-Bacolod for mill companies in Panay and Negros Occidental.

In view of the above, all mill companies are hereby advised to come up with estimates regarding the number of sugar quedan-permits needed for printing that will minimize excesses.

Adopted: 26 July 1995
