[ TESDA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-18, November 10, 2005 ]

APPROVING THE PROVISIONAL ASSESSMENT FEES BY QUALIFICATION



WHEREAS, during the 46th TESDA Board Meeting held last 19 May 2005 TESDA Board members approved Board Resolution No. 2005-07 “The Adoption of the Guidelines in the Implementation of the Philippine TVET Qualification and Certification System;

WHEREAS, Section 7 of the Guidelines in the Implementation of the Philippine TVET - Qualification and Certification Systems provides that “Assessment fees shall be based on the cost of supplies and materials as well as administrative expenses including assessor’s honoraria, power and utilities, depreciation and maintenance costs. Assessment Fees shall be subject to change to allow for any possible adjustments due to costs increases;’

WHEREAS, during the 11th TESDA Board-TESDA Secretariat Consultation Meeting which was held 14 October 2005, the cost of Assessment Fees by Qualification were deliberated and favorably recommended for consideration of the EXCOM -TESDA Board;

WHEREAS, during the 44th EXCOM-TESDA Board Meeting held 27 October 2005 the EXCOM-TESDA Board endorsed favorably the list of assessment fees by qualification for a period of six (6) months pilot implementation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approves the provisional assessment fees by qualification for a period of six (6) months subject to evaluation of its pilot implementation and submission of its findings and recommendations;

BE IT RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of the Resolution hard and soft copies of Provisional Assessment Fees by Qualification schedule be disseminated to all concerned.
