[ CSC MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 26, September 20, 1995 ]

ELIGIBILITY FOR DAY CARE WORKER I AND II, BARANGAY HEALTH AIDE AND SOCIAL WELFARE AIDE



Pursuant to CSC Resolution No. 95-5797 dated September 20, 1995, the Commission excluded the positions of Day Care Worker I and II, Barangay Health Aide and Social Welfare Aide from the list of positions covered under the National Manpower Youth Council (NMYC) - Skills Certificate Eligibility Program (SCEP). The Qualification Standards for these positions as prescribed in CSC MC No. 46, s. 1993 shall be maintained, as follows:

Day Care Worker I (SG 6)

Education: Completion of two years studies in college
Experience: None required
Training: None required
Eligibility: Career Service (Subprofessional)
              Appropriate Eligibility for First Level Position

Day Care Worker II (SG-8)

Education: Completion of two years studies in college
Experience: One year relevant experience
Training: 4 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Career Service (Subprofessional)
              Appropriate Eligibility for First Level Position

Barangay Health Aide (SG 4)

Education: Completion of two years studies in college
Experience: None required
Training: None required

Social Welfare Aide (SG 4)

Education: Completion of two years studies in college
Experience: None required
Training: None required
Eligibility: Career Service (Subprofessional)
              Appropriate Eligibility for First Level Position

For this purpose, "Appropriate Eligibility for First Level Positions" may include [a] those previously given pursuant to CSC Resolution No. 435, s. 1980 and CSC MC No. 10, s. 1977; [b] eligibility given under item No. 3 of CSC No. 42, s. 1993 and, [c] other functionally related eligibilities recognized or given by the Civil Service Commission.

This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately.
