CHPG CONTROL NUMBER



Attached is a memorandum dated November 7, 1995 from the Headquarters, Traffic Management Command, Motor Vehicle Clearance Unit signed by Police Superintendent Eliseo D. Dela Paz requesting to indicate the control number of the PNP Motor Vehicle Clearance Certificate on the space provided for in the Certificate of Registration everytime a new CR is issued to a motor vehicle owner as an added security feature and to facilitate clearance issuance by their unit.

In view hereof, you are instructed to comply with the said request.

This Memorandum Circular takes effect immediately.

Control Number

1. This pertains to the space provided for in the Certificate of Registration with a "CHPG control number" indicated (See sample CR Attached*).

2. To facilitate the issuance of clearance by this unit and as an added security features, request that the control number indicated in the upper left portion of the PNP Motor Vehicle Clearance Certificate be typed on the space provided for in the Certificate of Registration everytime a new CR is issued to a MV owner. (See attached PNP Clearance Certificate*).

3. Further request widest dissemination be made to all your LTO Regional, City/District and Municipal Branches/Offices nationwide regarding this matter.
