REVOCATION OF ALL SUGAR ORDERS, CIRCULAR LETTERS RE: SUGAR MARKET AND DEVELOPMENT FUND REMITTED TO THE CONFEDERATION OF SUGAR PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION, INC. (CONFED), NATIONAL FEDERATION OF SUGARCANE PLANTERS (NFSP), UNITED PLANTERS FEDERATION OF THE PHIL, INC. (UNIFED), PANAY FEDERATION OF SUGARCANE PLANTERS (PANAYFED), LUZON FEDERATION OF SUGARCANE GROWERS ASSN., INC. (LUZONFED), PHILIPPINE SUGAR MILLERS ASSOCIATION, INC. (PSMA) AND PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENT MILLERS ASSOCIATION, INC. (PIMA)



WHEREAS, there is a need to revoke all Sugar Orders, Circular Letters relative to the Sugar Market Development Fund (SMDF) remitted to CONFED, NFSP, UNIFED, PANAYFED, LUZONFED, PSMA and PIMA based on the Audit Observation Memorandum No. 13-007 of the Commission on Audit (COA) dated 03 September 2013;

NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), the following is hereby ordered:

Section 1. All Sugar Orders, Circular Letters relative to the SMDF remitted to CONFED, NFSP, UNIFED, PANAYFED, LUZONFED, PSMA, PIMA are hereby revoked.

Section 2. The P0.70 per Lkg-bag lien imposed on raw sugar quedans shall no longer be collected.

Section 3. This Sugar Order shall take effect immediately.

Section 4. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters, rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with this Sugar Order are hereby revised, modified or revoked accordingly.
