ADOPTION OF STANDARD TABULAR FORMAT OF TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION INSCRIBED ON ALL KINDS OF DEEDS/CONVEYANCES, PATENTS AND JUDICIAL FORMS FOR LAND DISPOSITION

Pursuant to Section 213 of DENR Memorandum Circular No. 2010-13 otherwise known as the Adoption of Manual on Land Survey Procedures, which empowers the LMB Director to issue procedures on various technical aspects of surveying and mapping, and in order to simplify and provide a standard format for technical description, the use of narrative technical description on deeds/ conveyances, patents and judicial forms for land disposition is hereby discontinued. Henceforth, the tabular format for technical description shall be adopted.

For purposes of patent issuance, the tabular technical description shall be prepared and verified by the DENR Geodetic Engineer. (Refer to “Annex A”[*])

For purposes of isolated/subdivision surveys of titled land, the tabular technical description shall be prepared and submitted by the private Geodetic Engineer and certified correct by the Chief, Regional Surveys and Mapping Division.(Refer to “Annex B”[*])

All other Circulars and other issuances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.

This Circular shall take effect after fifteen (15) days from the date of publication in newspaper of general circulation and upon acknowledgement of the Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR).
