MANDATORY USE OF AEROBRIDGES



The use of Aerobridges is hereinafter declared mandatory in all airports where they are available. All commercial air carriers are hereby ordered to utilize such Aerodrome facilities in the carrying and/or offloading of passengers.

Each recorded violation of this Order, or deliberate refusal of air carrier personnel to use an Aerobridge whenever one is declared available for its use by this Authority, shall result in an assessment of Fifty Thousand Pesos (Php50,000.00) against the erring commercial air carrier payable to this Authority, in accordance with Section 82 of Republic Act No. 9497.

All circulars, orders and/or memoranda in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded, amended, or modified accordingly. This Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately after publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation, and a copy thereof filed with the UP Law Center- Office of the National Administrative Register (ONAR), UP Diliman, Quezon City.
