MANDATORY IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SUPER GREEN LANE (SGL) IMPORT PROCESSING FACILITY IN ALL PORTS AND SUB-PORTS

The Super Green Lane (SGL) Import Processing Facility, established under CAO No. 2-2000, as amended by CAO 6-2003, and implemented under CMO No. 28-2003, shall hereby apply to all shipments/importations of SGL users in all ports and sub-ports. As provided in the aforecited rules and regulations, SGL users shall continue to avail of the following privileges:

  1. Electronically lodge and process the SAD into the BOC-ACOS system and after assessment of duties and taxes, make the payment through the Authorized Agent Bank (AAB);
  2. Submit, on the second working day of the week following the electronic lodgement, 7 copies/print outs of the SAD filed together with supporting documents, without any further processing in the Formal Entry Division or equivalent office or additional customs clearances in the port or sub-port concerned, pursuant to Section 10 of CMO 28-2003; and
  3. Be subjected to inspection or examination only when directed by the SGL Committee Chair or upon issuance of a Mission Order issued by the Commissioner or his duly authorized representative, pursuant to Section 11 of CMO 28-2003.

All other provisions of CMO 28-2003 not inconsistent herewith shall remain valid and in force and effect. This CMO shall take effect immediately after its publication.
