(NAR) VOL. 26 NO. 2/ APRIL - JUNE 2015

[ POEA Advisory No. 13, s. 2015, March 26, 2015 ]

SUBMISSION OF POLICE CLEARANCES FOR CANADIAN IMMIGRATION PURPOSES

Adopted: 26 March 2015
Date Filed: 28 May 2015

The Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, Canada through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) wishes to inform that all Filipino nationals, including family members above 18 years old intending to travel to Canada for reasons of work or study, must submit a police clearance from each country of last employment or residency where they reside for the last six (6) months or more in succession as required by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

To avoid inconvenience, Filipinos coming from third countries including the Middle East are advised to secure police clearance, which is a basic requirement of the CIC for the processing of residency, prior to their arrival in Canada.

For the information and guidance of concerned.
