STENCIL OF ENGINE/CHASSIS NUMBER USING ADHESIVE OR SCOTCH TAPE FOR MOTOR VEHICLES WHOSE ENGINE/CHASSIS NUMBER CANNOT BE DIRECTLY STENCIL TO THE MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORT

In view of the various complaints from the accredited manufacturers, assemblers, importers and dealers that stencil of engine/chassis number using adhesive or scotch tape are not accepted in some LTO District/Extension Offices, you are hereby directed to accept the stencil using the said method only for motor vehicles whose engine/chassis number cannot be directly stenciled to the Motor Vehicle Inspection Report (MVIR).
