VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR FILIPINOS BOUND FOR VIETNAM

The Vietnamese Embassy in Manila has provided the following information on the issuance of visas to facilitate the entry of Filipinos intending to work in Vietnam:
- Filipinos intending to work in Vietnam must possess a work visa issued by the Vietnamese Embassy in Manila prior to departure.
- Filipinos intending to work in Vietnam must first secure a Visa Approval Letter from the Immigration Department of Vietnam and present a copy of the said Letter together with the Visa Application Form to the Vietnamese Embassy at the time of application.
- The validity of work visas must correspond to the duration of work contracts which must be for at least six (6)months.
