AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TITLE AND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 8309, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO CAUSE THE ACQUISITION EITHER BY NEGOTIATION, EXPROPRIATION OR BY ANY OTHER LEGAL MEANS, OF THOSE CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND, WITH AN AGGREGATE AREA OF NINE HUNDRED SQUARE METERS (900 SQ. M.) LOCATED IN BARANGAY 766, ZONE 83, ZOBEL ROXAS CORNER ONYX STREETS, SAN ANDRES BUKID, MANILA, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NOS. 96848 AND 96849; 108564 AND 18402, UNDER THE NAMES OF ELEANORA D. HOFER, SPOUSES FRANCISCO AUSTRIA, AND EVELYN AUSTRIA AND CONCORDIA CLEMENTE DE ROMERO, RESPECTIVELY, IN THE REGISTRY OF DEEDS FOR THE CITY OF MANILA" BY SUBTITUTING THE TRANSFERE CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. 18402 WITH TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NO. 284183 AND THE NAME CONCORDIA CLEMENTE DE ROMERO WITH SPOUSES ADORACION BOLONGAITAAND ROMEO BOLONGAITA

Be it ordained by the City Council of Manila, in session assembled, THAT:
SECTION 1. The Title of Ordinance No. 8309 is hereby amended, by substituting the Transfer of Certificate of Title No. 18402 with Transfer Certificate of Title No. 284183 and the name Concordia Clemente de Romero with Spouses Adoracion Bolongaita and Romeo Bolongaita, to read as follows:
"AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO CAUSE THE ACQUISITION EITHER BY NEGOTIATION, EXPROPRIATION OR BY ANY OTHER LEGAL MEANS, OF THOSE CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND, WITH AN AGGREGATE AREA OF NINE HUNDRED SQUARE METERS (900 SQ. M.), LOCATED IN BARANGAY 766, ZONE 83, ZOBEL ROXAS CORNER ONYX STREETS, SAN ANDRES BUKID, MANILA, COVERED BY TRANSFER CERTIFICATE OF TITLE NOS. 96848 AND 96849; 108564 AND 284183, REGISTERED UNDER THE NAMES OF ELEANORA D. HOFER, SPOUSES FRANCISCO AUSTRIA AND EVELYN AUSTRIA AND SPOUSES ADORACION BOLONGAITA AND ROMEO BOLONGAITA, RESPECTIVELY, IN THE REGISTRY OF DEEDS FOR THE CITY OF MANILA"SEC. 2. Section 1 thereof is hereby amended, by substituting the Transfer Certificate of Title No. 18402 with Transfer Certificate of Title No. 284183 and the name Concordia Clemente de Romero with Spouses Adoracion Bolongaita and Romeo Bolongaita, to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. The acquisition either by negotiation, expropriation or by any other legal means, of those certain parcels of land located in Barangay 766, Zone 83, Zobel Roxas corner Onyx Streets, San Andres Bukid, Manila, covered by Transfer Certificate of Title Nos. 96848 and 96849; 108564 and 284183, registered under the names of Eleanora D. Hofer, Spouses Francisco Austria and Evelyn Austria and Spouses Adoracion Bolongaita and Romeo Bolongaita, respectively, with a total land area of Nine Hundred Square Meters (900 Sq. M.), is hereby authorized pursuant to the Land-for-the-Landless Program of the City of Manila."SEC. 3. Repealing Clause. – All previous ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance shall be deemed repealed or modified accordingly.
SEC. 4. Effectivity Clause. – This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
This Ordinance was finally enacted by the City Council of Manila on September 15, 2015.
