AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE TAX AMNESTY AUTHORIZED THROUGH ORDINANCE NO. 8423, AS AMENDED, UP TO MARCH 31, 2016

Be it ordained by the City Council of Manila, in session assembled, THAT:

SECTION 1. The Tax Amnesty granted to delinquent real estate taxpayers by virtue of City Ordinance No. 8423, as amended, is hereby extended to March 31, 2016.

SEC. 2. The coverage stated under Sec. 2(1) of City Ordinance No. 8423, as amended, is further extended up to the end of the availment period of this Ordinance.

SEC. 3. Repealing Clause. – All ordinances or portions thereof, which are contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance or portions hereof, are hereby deemed modified or repealed.

SEC. 4. Effectivity Clause. – This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Ordinance was finally enacted by the City Council of Manila on December 22, 2015.
