[ SRA SUGAR ORDER NO. 6, S. 2013-2014, January 15, 2014 ]

VALIDITY PERIOD FOR CLEARANCE FOR REGULAR SWAPPING, SUGAR EXPORT AND WORLD MARKET SHIPMENT, RECLASSIFICATION OF SUGAR, REFINING OF “D” TO “E”, AND WITHDRAWALS OF “E” AND “F” SUGAR

WHEREAS, there is a one (1) month validity from the date of issuance indicated in the clearances issued by the SRA for muscovado, molasses export and import shipment, premix and imported sugar;

WHEREAS, for purposes of uniformity, clarity and monitoring, there is a need to also indicate the date of validity for SRA clearances such as regular swapping, sugar export and world market shipments, reclassification, refining and withdrawals;

NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

Section 1. Clearances for regular swapping, sugar export and world market shipment, reclassification of sugar, refining of “D” to “E” sugar and withdrawals of “E” and “F” sugar shall indicate a 90-day validity from the date of the issuance.

Section 2. Renewal fees pursuant to General Administrative Order No. 1 dated 11 May 2011 shall apply for extension of validity of the said clearances.

Section 3. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters and/or other rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with this Sugar Order, are hereby amended, modified or revoked accordingly.

Section 4. This Order shall take effect immediately.
