ADDENDUM TO SUGAR ORDER NO. 6, SERIES OF 2013-2014, PROVIDING FOR A 90-DAY VALIDITY FOR PREVIOUSLY ISSUED CLEARANCES FOR REGULAR SWAPPING, SUGAR EXPORT AND WORLD MARKET SHIPMENT RECLASSIFICATION OF SUGAR, REFINING OF “D” TO “E”, AND WITHDRAWALS OF “E” AND “F” SUGAR

WHEREAS, the SRA has issued Sugar Order No. 6, Series of 2013-2014 providing for a 90-day validity from the date of issuance of SRA clearances for regular swapping, sugar export and world market shipment reclassification of sugar, refining of “D” to “E”, and withdrawals of “E” and “F” sugar;

WHEREAS, there is a need to provide for a similar policy for similar documents issued prior to the effectivity of Sugar Order No. 6, Series of 2013- 2014 for consistency and equal treatment of all concerned;

NOW THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration, it is hereby ordered that:

Section 1. Sugar Order No. 6, Series of 2013-2014 shall likewise apply to all previously issued clearances for regular swapping, sugar export and world market shipment reclassification of sugar, refining of “D” to “E”, and withdrawals of “E” and “F” sugar, specifically, it shall have a validity of 90 days from the date of effectivity of this sugar order.

Section 2. Expired clearances may be renewed in which case, Section 2 of Sugar Order No. 6 Series of 2013-2014 shall apply.

Section 3. Provisions of Sugar Orders, Circular Letters and/or other rules and regulations contrary to or inconsistent with this Sugar Order are hereby amended, modified or revoked accordingly.

Section 4. This Order shall take effect immediately.
