WHEREAS, Section 11 of MMDA Memorandum Circular No. 03 Series of 2011, in relation to the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) under MMDA Regulation No. 96-005 Series of 1996, as amended, provides for the exemption fee for private individual motor vehicle owners shall be Three Hundred Pesos (Php300.00);

WHEREAS, in order to effectively regulate the filing of exemptions from the UVVRP on the part of private individual motor vehicle owners, there is a need to increase the fee required therefor;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, as it is hereby resolved, that the Metro Manila Council increases the exemption fee for private individual motor vehicle owners under Section 11 of MMDA Memorandum Circular No. 03 Series of 2011, in relation to the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) under MMDA Regulation No. 96-005 Series of 1996, as amended, from Three Hundred Pesos (Php300.00) to One Thousand Pesos (Php1,000.00)

This Regulation shall be effective five (5) days from the date of its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation and submission of a copy thereof with the Office of the National Administrative Register, U.P. Law Center.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of August 2018 in Makati City.

1996, as Amended” was approved by the Metro Manila Council on 07 August 2018.
