AMENDMENT TO D.O. 14-2015 ON EXTENDING THE VALIDITY OF PHILIPPINE PASSPORTS

As  amendment   to  Department   Order  No.  14-2015,  in  order  to  render effective service to passport extension applicants who may have passports which expired for more than two (2) years, as well as to grant a two-year validity period extension for OFW passport extension applicants as required by their respective employers, D.O. 14-2015 is hereby amended as follows:
“xxx

The extension of the validity of passports is for a period of not less than one (1)  year  but  not  more  than  two  (2)  years  from  the  date  of  application  for extension. The extension shall only be granted to applicants whose applications were submitted not later than 30 December 2015.
xxx”
This Order shall immediately supersede D.O. 14-2015 as far as the change as indicated above, and all previous instructions issued on the subject.
