AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SEVENTY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Section one of Republic Act Numbered Seventy is amended to read as follows:

"SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any vessel of Philippine register, engaged in coastwise trade, with a carrying capacity of one hundred fifty or more passengers and regularly making voyages lasting more than twenty-four hour's without touching port, to sail or attempt to sail from any port of the Philippines unless it has in its complement a physician, or a male nurse if carrying less than one hundred fifty passengers and none if carrying less than seventy-five passengers."SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
