[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5966, June 21, 1969 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE CAVITE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROSARIO, PROVINCE OF CAVITE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. A national college of arts and trades, to be known as the Cavite College of Arts and Trades, shall be established in the Municipality of Rosario, Province of Cavite. The said college shall be under the supervision of the Bureau of Public Schools and subject to existing laws on public education. Technical instructions in the first two years and course leading to Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education shall be offered in the said college.

SEC. 2. The sum of three hundred fifty thousand pesos for its establishment, operation and maintenance is hereby authorized to be appropriated during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy. Such adequate sums as may be needed in subsequent years for its operation and maintenance yearly thereafter shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
