[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4336, June 19, 1965 ]

AN ACT APPROPRIATING ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSES OF HOLDING THE CONVENTION OF THE ASIAN PEOPLE'S ANTI-COMMUNIST LEAGUE AT MANILA IN THE YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIVE.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of one hundred thousand pesos, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to defray the expenses for the holding of the convention of the Asian People's Anti-Communist League at Manila, in nineteen hundred and sixty-five: Provided, however, That whatever resolutions passed or communiques agreed upon by the conferees should not necessarily be interpreted as in accordance with the foreign policy of the Republic of the Philippines.

The sum herein appropriated shall be made available immediately upon the approval of this Act, and be at the disposal of the Department of National Defense exclusively for the Philippine Anti-Communist Movement: Provided, however, That no part of this appropriation shall be used in the purchase of equipment: And, provided, further, That any and all expenses out of this appropriation shall be subject to the usual government auditing procedures.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
