[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7670, January 10, 1994 ]

AN ACT DECLARING JUNE FIFTEEN OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY TO BE KNOWN AS CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY CHARTER DAY



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Cagayan de Oro City was created as a city on June 15, 1950 by virtue of Republic Act No. 521.

SEC. 2. June Fifteen of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking public holiday in Cagayan de Oro City to be known as Cagayan de Oro City Charter Day.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

Lapsed into law on January 10, 1994 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
