[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2753, June 19, 1960 ]

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GUBAT, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON, TO BE KNOWN AS THE GUBAT EMERGENCY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services, an emergency hospital in the Municipality of Gubat, Province of Sorsogon, to be known as the Gubat Emergency Hospital.  While there is no national building to house the said emergency hospital, the Municipality of Gubat shall provide the necessary building in the meantime at a site to be determined by the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Gubat in consultation with the Director of Medical Services.

SEC. 2. The sum of seventy thousand pesos is hereby prized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment and operation of the said hospital, purchase equipment and for administrative expenses.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
