[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2875, June 19, 1960 ]
AN ACT TRANSFERRING THE HOLDING OF COURT SESSION FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALLESTEROS, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANCHEZ MIRA, SAME PROVINCE, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION FIFTY-FOUR OF THE JUDICIARY ACT OF 1948, AS AMENDED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The third paragraph of Section fifty-four of Republic Act Numbered Two hundred ninety-six, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Act of 1948," as amended, is further amended to read as follows:
Enacted without Executive approval, June 19, 1960.
SECTION 1. The third paragraph of Section fifty-four of Republic Act Numbered Two hundred ninety-six, otherwise known as "The Judiciary Act of 1948," as amended, is further amended to read as follows:
"First Judicial District: At Santo Domingo de Basco, Province of Batanes, on the first Tuesday of March of each year. A special term of court shall also be held once a year in the municipalities of Sanchez Mira and Tuao, both of the Province of Cagayan."SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
