H. No. 705 / 57 OG No. 45, 8102 (November 6, 1961)

[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3035, June 17, 1961 ]

AN ACT FURTHER AMENDING COMMONWEALTH ACT NUMBERED ONE HUNDRED THREE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The fifth paragraph of Section one of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred three, as amended, is further amended to read as follows:

"The presiding judge shall receive an annual compensation one thousand pesos more than the annual compensation of each of the four associate judges which shall be equal to that allowed or may hereafter be allowed for judges of courts of first instance. They shall be entitled  to  traveling expenses and per diems when performing official duties outside of the City of Manila. They shall be entitled further to the leave privileges granted under Section two hundred seventy-one of the Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act Numbered Thirteen hundred ninety-nine."


SEC. 2. The differential pay created by the salary adjustment herein provided for shall be drawn from the savings of the Court of Industrial Relations during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-one.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
