[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4047, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTIONS ONE AND TWO OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Sections one and two of Republic Act Numbered Three thousand  four hundred eighty are hereby amended to read as follows:

"SECTION  1. There is hereby granted to Marinduque Iron Mines, Inc., a temporary permit to construct, establish, maintain and operate in the Philippines, at such places as the said grantee may select subject to approval of the Secretary of Public Works and Communications, private fixed point-to-point radio stations, aeronautical fixed radio stations, mobile land stations, mobile sea stations, mobile air  stations as well as point-to-point field stations for operations and communications from point-to-point ground, land point to mobile air, land or sea, mobile sea to air, sea or land and mobile air to air, sea or land, for the reception and transmission of wireless messages on radiotelegraphy or radiotelephony, each station to be provided with a radio transmitting apparatus and radio receiving apparatus. Said grantee is authorized to use any combination of these facilities for the efficiency and safety of its operations.

"SEC. 2. The President of the Philippines shall have the power and authority to permit the location of said private fixed point-to-point radio stations, aeronautical fixed radio stations, mobile land stations, mobile sea stations, mobile air stations as well as point-to-point field stations for new operations and communications from point-to-point ground, land point to mobile air, land or sea, mobile air to air, sea or land and mobile sea to air, sea or land, or any of them on lands of the public domain upon .such terms as he may prescribe.


SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
