[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4027, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL FOE PHILIPPINE CRAFTSMEN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PUERTO PRINCESA, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, TO BE KNOWN AS PALAWAN SCHOOL FOR PHILIPPINE CRAFTSMEN, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established in the Municipality of Puerto Princesa, Province of Palawan, a school for Philippine craftsmen to be known as Palawan School for Philippine craftsmen.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education is hereby authorized to determine the location of said school, and he shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC 3. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-five.   Thereafter, the sums necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
