[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4637, June 19, 1965 ]

AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. Section six of Republic Act Numbered One thousand one hundred and thirty is amended by inserting between paragraphs two and three thereof, new para­graphs to read as follows:
"There shall be a Prosecution Division in the Anti-Dummy Board to be composed of the following officials with annual compensation hereinafter fixed:

"Chief Prosecutor .................................................    P12,000.00

"One Assistant Chief Prosecutor ...........................       10,800.00

"Four Senior Prosecutors, each at .........................        9,600.00

"Four Prosecutors, each at ...................................        8,400.00

"Four Prosecutors, each at ...................................        7,200.00

"The prosecutors hereinabove mentioned shall be ap­pointed by the Anti-Dummy Board and shall receive the salaries provided for herein, notwithstanding any provi­sion of law to the contrary: Provided, however, That all the incumbent special investigators and legal officers of the Anti-Dummy Board who are actually occupying such positions upon the approval of this Act by virtue of approved appointments shall, if qualified under the provi­sions hereof, occupy the positions herein created in accord­ance with their seniority rank. The rank and qualifica­tions for appointment to the position of Chief Prosecutor shall be the same as those prescribed for Judges of Court of First Instance; the rank and qualifications for appointment to the positions of Assistant Chief Prosecutor, Senior Prosecutors and Prosecutors shall be the same as those prescribed for provincial fiscals.

"In addition to such sums as may have been provided in the current Appropriations Act, there is hereby author­ized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as may­be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
