[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3880, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A NATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF ANGELES, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled;

SECTION 1. A national trade school patterned after the Philippine College of Arts and Trades to be known, as the Angeles National Trade School, shall be established in the City of Angeles: Provided, That a suitable site of at least eight hectares, level, well-drained and preferably rectangular in shape, shall be acquired. The said school shall be under the supervision of the  Bureau  of Vocational Education. Courses of secondary level shall be offered m the said school.

SEC. 2. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school for the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-five. Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
