[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3893, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING SOUTHERN NUEVA VIZCAYA EMERGENCY HOSPITAL INTO MAGSAYSAY GENERAL HOSPITAL. INCREASING ITS BED CAPACITY TO FIFTY. ESTABLISHING THEREIN A SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Southern Nueva Vizcaya Emergency Hospital is hereby converted into Magsaysay General Hospital. The bed capacity of this hospital is increased to fifty.

SEC. 2. There shall be established in Magsaysay General Hospital a school of nursing and midwifery.

SEC. 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the provisions of this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four to nineteen hundred sixty-five. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
