[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5315, June 15, 1968 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE MEDINA HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MEDINA, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL, INTO A NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MEDINA NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Medina High School in the Municipality of Medina, Province of Misamis Oriental, is hereby con­verted into a national comprehensive high school to be known as the Medina National Comprehensive High School.  Said school shall be under the direct supervision of the Director of the Bureau of Public Schools.

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine. Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General
Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
