H. No. 11932 / 65 OG No. 23, 5823 (June 9, 1969)

[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5288, June 15, 1968 ]

AN ACT CREATING THREE ADDITIONAL BRANCHES OF THE CITY COURT OF QUEZON CITY, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION THIRTY OF THE CHARTER OF SAID CITY.



Be it  enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of Section thirty of Republic Act Numbered Five
hundred thirty-seven, otherwise known as the Revised Charter of Quezon City, is
hereby further amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 30. The City Court.—There shall be a city court for Quezon City, with seven judges to be known as judges of the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh branches, respectively. One of the said city judges shall  be designated by the Secretary of Justice to try all cases of  traffic violations within Quezon City."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
