[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3783, June 22, 1963 ]

AN ACT REORGANIZING THE PROSECUTION DIVISION AND THE DEPORTATION BOARD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF CERTAIN PERSONNEL THEREIN.




Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Prosecution Division of the Department of Justice shall be composed of the following personnel with annual compensation hereinafter fixed:

Chief prosecuting attorney
P 12,000.00
Two trial attorneys IV, each at
11,400.00
Eight trial attorneys III, each at
10,800.00
Two trial attorneys III, each at
10,800.00
Five trial attorneys III, each at
9,600.00
One trial attorney III
9,000.00
Seven trial attorneys II, each at
8,400.00
Six trial attorneys II, each at
7,200.00
One research attorney I
5,400.00
One supervising clerk I
2,952.00
Three stenographic reporters, each at
2,676.00
Six stenographic reporters, each at
2,676.00
One research attorney I
4,800.00
One stenographer
2,676.00
One statistical aide I
2,196.00
One clerk I
1,980.00
One janitor

SEC. 2. The Deportation Board of the Department of Justice shall be composed of the following personnel with annual compensation hereinafter fixed:
One Chairman (by detail).
Two Members (by detail).

SEC. 3. The officials and attorneys mentioned in Sections one and two of this Act shall receive the salary provided for herein, notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary.

SEC. 4. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
