[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5231, June 15, 1968 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ANIMAL BREEDING STATION IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF QUEZON, PROVINCE OF ISABELA, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There is hereby established, under the supervision of the Director of Animal Industry, an animal breeding station in the Municipality of Quezon, Province of Isabela.

SEC. 2. The Director of Animal Industry shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SEC. 3. The sum of fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the animal breeding station; said sum to be spent by the Director of Animal Industry, subject to approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, for the purchase of breeding animals, supplies and materials; for construction  of buildings, sheds, corrals  and  other  structures; establishment of water system; for salaries and wages of personnel; and for  such  other  expenses   as   may  be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
