[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 805, June 21, 1952 ]

AN ACT TO ESTABLISH, ORGANIZE AND MAINTAIN ONE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BOAC, PROVINCE OF MARINDUQUE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE MARINDUQUE SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADE AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Secretary of Education is hereby authorized to establish, organize and maintain one national secondary school of arts and trades in the municipality of Boac, Province of Marinduque, to be known as the Marinduque School of Arts and Trades.

SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos for its establishment, operation and maintenance during its first year, and such adequate sums as may be needed in subsequent years for its operation and maintenance yearly thereafter, are hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.

SEC. 3. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to locate and acquire or cause to be located and acquired a suitable site for the purpose of this Act, which may be public or private lands situated within the municipality of Boac, Province of Marinduque.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
