[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7106, August 14, 1991 ]

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE TANAUAN SCHOOL OF CRAFTSMANSHIP AND HOME INDUSTRIES IN TANAUAN, LEYTE, TO LEYTE STATE SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The name of the Tanauan School of Craftsmanship and Home Industries in Tanauan, Leyte, is hereby changed to Leyte State School of Arts and Trades.

SEC. 2. The College shall offer secondary course in arts and trades, short-term technical or vocational courses, and higher professional instruction and training in arts and trades as may be authorized by the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 22, 1991 and May 16, 1991, respectively.
