[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7862, January 21, 1995 ]

AN ACT SEPARATING THE EVARISTO MORALIZON HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY POBLACION CENTRAL, FROM THE MANAY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED IN BARANGAY SAN IGNACIO IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MANAY, PROVINCE OF DAVAO ORIENTAL, AND CONVERTING IT INTO A VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE EVARISTO MORALIZON NATIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Evaristo Moralizon High School in Barangay Poblacion Central in the Municipality of Manay is hereby separated from the Manay National High School located in Barangay San Ignacio, Province of Davao Oriental, and declared a national vocational high school to be known as the Evaristo Moralizon National Vocational High School.

SEC. 2. All assets, fixed and movable, records, personnel, as well as liabilities of the Evaristo Moralizon High School are hereby transferred to and assumed by the Evaristo Moralizon National Vocational High School: Provided, however, That the positions, rights and security of tenure of the personnel herein employed under existing laws prior to its separation shall not be impaired: Provided, further, That, the incumbents in the position shall remain in the same status until otherwise provided.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 31, 1994 and November 15, 1994, respectively.
