[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4072, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT OP THE EULOGIO RODRIGUEZ VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF MANILA.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION   1. A  vocational  technical   department  which offer courses  above secondary level  is hereby established in the Eulogio Rodriguez Vocational High School in the City of Manila.

SEC. 2. The Eulogio Rodriguez Vocational High School shall be headed by a vocational director.  Its present principal shall become the school director and the assist ant principal shall be the head of the vocational technical department.  Thereafter, directors shall be appointed by the Secretary of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of City Schools of Manila.

SEC. 3. The salary of the director shall not be less than ten thousand pesos per annum; the head of the vocational technical department shall receive eight thousand four hundred pesos per annum; and each technical instructor shall receive four thousand eight hundred pesos per annum.

SEC. 4. A school registrar and other needed personnel shall be appointed upon the recommendation of the school director and their salaries shall be paid out of national funds.

SEC. 5. The operation and maintenance of the said vocational technical department shall be financed by the National Government.

SEC. 6. The operation and maintenance of the Eulogio Rodriguez Vocational High School, including its day and evening secondary school departments, but excluding the vocational   technical   department, shall continue to be financed by the Government of the City of Manila.

SEC. 7. Provincial students may be enrolled in the said vocational technical  department of the  school  after qualified resident applicants in the City of Manila shall have been admitted.

SEC.  8. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the  National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the operation and maintenance of the said vocational technical department of the Eulogio Rodriguez Vocational High School during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-five.  Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC.  9.   This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
