[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8039, June 05, 1995 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE FORT ANDRES BONIFACIO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX IN BARANGAY SIGNAL VILLAGE, MUNICIPALITY OF TAGIG, METRO MANILA, INTO AN INDEPENDENT HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SIGNAL VILLAGE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Fort Andres Bonifacio National High School-Signal Village Annex in Barangay Signal Village, Municipality of Tagig, Metro Manila, is hereby separated from the Fort Andres Bonifacio National High School, and converted into an independent high school, to be known as the Signal Village National High School.

SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 3. All the assets, immovable and movable, records, and personnel of the Fort Andres Bonifacio National High School-Signal Village Annex, as well as its liabilities and obligations, are hereby transferred to the Signal Village National High School: Provided, however, That the positions, rights, and security of tenure of the personnel therein employed under existing laws shall not be impaired.

SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Lapsed into law on June 5, 1995 without the President's signature, pursuant to Sec. 27(1), Article VI of the Constitution.
