[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9092, April 08, 2001 ]

AN ACT DECLARING EVERY 3RD DAY OF SEPTEMBER AS ARAW NG LABANAN SA IMUS, A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF IMUS, CAVITE



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. September 3 of every year is hereby declared as Araw ng Labanan sa Imus, a special working holiday in the Municipality of Imus, Cavite, in commemoration of the historic "Labanan sa Imus."

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect immediately after its publication in two (2) newspapers of general circulation.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 6, 2001 and June 8, 2000, respectively.
