[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8234, November 10, 1996 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE MACARIO MOLINA MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL AT BARANGAY TAMBAC, MUNICIPALITY OF ROMBLON, PROVINCE OF ROMBLON, INTO A NATIONAL GOVERNMENT-FUNDED SECONDARY SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE MACARIO MOLINA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Macario Molina Memorial High School at Barangay Tambac, Municipality of Romblon, Province of Romblon, is hereby converted into a regular secondary school under the control and supervision of the national government through the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, to be known as the Macario Molina National High School.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

Approved, Lapsed into law on November 10, 1996, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
