[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8580, February 28, 1998 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY ILIAN, MUNICIPALITY OF BALABAGAN, 2ND DISTRICT, PROVINCE OF LANAO DEL SUR, TO BE KNOWN AS THE TATAYA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school to be located in Barangay Ilian in the Municipality of Balabagan, 2nd District, Province of Lanao del Sur, to be known as Tataya National High School.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the budget of the Regional Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Regional Government in Muslim Mindanao in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 22, 1997 and November 24, 1997, respectively.
