AN ACT DECLARING 9 FEBRUARY OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF MANDALUYONG
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. February 9 of every year is hereby designated as a special working holiday in the City of Mandaluyong, in recognition and commemoration of the city's liberation from foreign occupying forces.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on August 9, 1999 and May 29, 2000, respectively.
